THE JOSH FUND x
RIMON SCHOOL OF MUSIC COLLABORATION
We continue to honor Josh's memory through a powerful partnership with the phenomenal Rimon School of Music. Together, we celebrate Josh's life, his passion for music, and his enduring belief in creativity as a force for connection- while inspiring and supporting Rimon students on their own musical journeys.
Across each initiative, Josh’s story and music are woven into the student experience, offering inspiration drawn from his legacy and his deep love of electronic music.
The Josh Fund Scholarship Committee
The Josh Fund Scholarship Committee brings together leaders from across Rimon’s academic community, including:
Oded Davidov, Chair of Music Production and Performance
Elad Adar, leading faculty member in the Production Department
Avi Elbaz, Senior faculty member in the Production Department
Mitchell Rosen, Academic Director
Each year, the committee carefully selects outstanding second-and third-year students to receive the Josh Fund Scholarship.
The Josh Fund Scholars
The Josh Fund students represent the very best of the Rimon community—talented, dedicated, and passionate about shaping the future of music. Several recipients are deeply engaged in EDM and innovative electronic production, including three exceptional female producers. This is especially meaningful, reflecting Rimon’s commitment to making music production more accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for women.
The generosity of The Josh Fund will reach far beyond individual students—its impact will strengthen the entire Rimon community and help shape the future of music in Israel and beyond.
Program Implementation

Week of Master Classes

Yearlong Flagship Project for Final-Year Students
A comprehensive program in which final-year music production students create a flagship recording project of three to five original songs. The program includes master classes with leading figures in the music industry, one-on-one mentoring with top music producers, and recording budgets for professional studio sessions.
WHY WE CHOSE TO PARTNER WITH RIMON
Rimon was founded on the same values it thrives on today, a deep commitment to collective well-being and to helping students and communities thrive through music. The school continually develops programs that serve the common good. Through dozens of formal partnerships, Rimon offers music enrichment and performance programs at hospitals, rehabilitation centers, elder care facilities, assisted living residences, community centers, mental-health programs, and settings serving people with disabilities, youth at risk, soldiers, and veterans. Much of this outreach is facilitated through its Mamtak program, which has grown steadily, approximately 10% annually. Since 2021, more than 500 students have each completed 140 hours of community service across dozens of social projects.
Rimon believes music is a collective experience, one that should be accessible to all. Rimon is also committed to continuous self-study, ensuring its infrastructure and programming evolve to meet the needs of students and communities alike. The next phase of Rimon’s development includes plans for a new multipurpose complex serving students, professionals, and the public.
Across its three campuses – Rimon’s main campus (Ramat HaSharon, a Tel Aviv suburb), Rimon South (Sderot), and Rimon North (Akko) – Rimon offers top-tier musical education while hosting workshops, conferences, and symposia for students, practitioners, and program leaders from diverse educational, clinical, and service organizations. Looking ahead, Rimon’s vision is to expand inclusive, innovative pathways for people from all backgrounds to experience the transformative power of music.
